Kline's debut full length Eastern Capital was written and produced throughout a 3 month trip to Japan in 2016. With his 13 song opus, Kline paints a picture of the subsequent ego death one endures when immersed in a new cultural landscape.

Eastern Capital's mosaic of minimal & precise intention finds an artist in a place of self discovery. Balancing elements of lo-fi beat culture with cinematic instrumentation, Kline gives a nod to a time gone by while embracing a futurist narrative.

Using the dichotomy of modern Japan as a vessel for experimentation, Eastern Capital transports the listener to an unfamiliar yet strangely welcoming dream-like world over its 36 minute runtime.
